Our extra special girl Dixie is approximately four years old and a cross breed at the bottom end of medium. Dixie has been in our Cyprus shelter for three months having been surrendered by her owner who was no longer able to care for her.
Dixie is described by our shelter manager as a fabulous dog who is calmness personified. She has a natural way about her with an affable demeanour and pleasant personality.
Dixie appears to be a cross between something of a medium size and then something smaller, possibly a terrier type. This leaves Dixie with a staggeringly lovely appearance and a certain kind of cuteness. Her black and white coat is enhanced with an array of freckles. An absolute showstopper on her walks in the park, in the woods or along the beach.
Dixie walks nicely on her lead. She seems to mix perfectly well with other dogs, cats and children. A prime adoption candidate.
